1968 Pontiac LeMans/GTO Restomod. Started life as a 6 cyl coupe, currently setup for a 389 (bored 0.40 over to 396) from a 1965 GTO, with 335HP. Has an Edelbrock Performer intake, 4130 carb. TH350 transmission. This was a running, driving car before I began restoration. Engine swap was not part of the restoration, came this way when I bought it from previous owner.
As you can see in the pictures, this is a PROJECT car. I bought this car with the intent of turning it into a restomod. Upgrade all the old parts, but keep the old school flavor. And yes, obviously it has rust, as it was originally a vinyl top car. If rust scares you, I’d recommend not living in New England. Frame rails are good, just the thinner sheet metal needs work.
While not shown in the pictures, it does include the front fenders, hood, front and rear bumpers, etc. Minus the headliner, trim and little stuff like that, it comes with everything to put her back together. Includes most of the original parts as well, such as original steering column, rear window, etc.
Now for the good. I’ve already purchased a ton of parts. In the photos is a short list, but will include full BMR front and rear suspension ugprades (control arms, springs, Bilstein shocks, etc), ididit steering column, Borgeson power steering box, full 4 wheel disc brake conversion with new master cylinder from Right Stuff. New Rally seats from Procar. New carpet. Custom steering wheel. New rear mirror. New door and trunk locks with matching keys. Engine dress up kit. Edelbrock air cleaner. New oil filter housing. New radiator hoses. Etc, etc, etc. All new parts, only a few have been test fitted, even less actually installed.
Will also come with engine stand, engine hoist and leveler. Service manuals and owner’s manual. Reproduction window sticker from PHS.
Edit: Just updated the parts list, sitting around $8,700. I know I’m still forgetting different things, but those are what I’ve found receipts for, so far. And the car itself cost me $8,000 in 2020. So, around $17,000 invested.
My reserve is $6,000. You’re basically getting all the parts at a healthy discount, and a free car thrown in.
Shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. While many of the parts can fit within the car for shipping, a lot of parts would not, such as the hood, fender, bumpers. I am happy to provide video, photos, Facetime, whatever documentation you would like prior to the vehicle leaving my possession, so that you can be completely confident in the exact condition of everything at the moment of pickup.
Otherwise: I will hold the vehicle for a total of 4 weeks from the time the deposit has been received. Even with Covid, etc, this is more than sufficient time to arrange shipping/pick up details. I hate that I have to include this, but I had someone stall for 3 months, then finally no-show. I’m not doing that again.

No title, bill of sale only. eBay did not give the option for this when creating the listing.
I have the bill of sale from previous owner, as well as several owners before that. Transfer and registration will be no problem.

I have had to remove and report several bidders from this auction, due to fraudulent bidding. It is unfortunate, but it appears some people think eBay is just for fun and were making extremely high bids with zero intention of actually paying.
Therefore, if you become the high bidder after my reserve has been met, please send me a message or respond to my inquiry, to confirm that you are a serious bidder.
