Victory has always offered tremendous value for the money with excellent build quality and reliability for the price point even when new. The cross country was a tremendous bike to begin with having a far superior chassis and motor than anything Harley had to offer at the time when they were released all the way up until Victory shut the doors on their production line and Harley came out with the new Milwaukee 8 platform. The bike had a tremendous amount of features that were far ahead of its time in 2012 including inverted front forks with dual 4 piston calipers, ABS brakes, full digital display with information center, fuel injection, and cruise control. This one has been heavily modified with just about every part and option available for the Cross Country line and it has basically been transformed into one of the most sought after models that Victory ever offered which was the Magnum X-1. With all of the top shelf custom audio that has professionally installed on this bike it is easily on par with Victory’s flagship X-1 for having a quality sound system including 6×9 Polk Audio rear speakers in custom bag lids along with 6 1/2 rockford fosgates upfront with a Boss Audio waterproof bluetooth 500w 4 channel amp powering them. This also eliminates the need for any head unit or stereo which saves weight and makes for a much cleaner and less complicated dash and wiring under the batwing. The bike also has a 21 front wheel with full wrap front fender giving it the same custom bad bagger look as the Magnum along huge 4 exhaust and big tall ape hangers with Avon chrome cushion grips. This is a BIG bike but because of Victory’s clever engineering it is very easy to handle even with the big bars thanks to a low center of gravity and excellent suspension and brakes. The rider cockpit on the Victory’s is much more spacious than on any Harley model and is a much better option for bigger than average riders looking for the most room possible for rider and passenger. The stock seat on these is excellent and is plenty comfortable for all day riding with no need to spend big $$$ on expensive aftermarket seats. There is still a huge aftermarket for Victory’s and parts availability is no issue since most Victory models with the 106 cubic inch motor have excellent parts interchangeability.
