This is beautiful colored fiber optic fiber and very hard to find. Now you can add colored fiber optic lights to your project the easy way!!
These Colored fibers are .25mm thick. They are pre cut and vary in length about 22 to 23 inches long. You will get approximately 150 feet in the pack. You get an equal amount of fiber strands in each color: Red, Blue, Yellow, Green and Orange. I’m sorry I’m “OUT OF PURPLE”!
The fiber tips will light up whatever color the fiber strand is when you use a white light. They light up in very bright and intense colors. By using 1 white light source you can have 5 different colored fiber optic lights. They are very easy to cut with a hobby knife or scissors. If you cut them into 3 or more pieces the 2 outer pieces will light up in color and the middle pieces will light up white when used with a white light. This gives you the option of having white too. These are also great for color coding your fiber optic runs so you can keep track of where each one is going. Please check the size comparison picture below to see the size of these compared to a U.S. penny. I have colored fiber optic fiber in .25mm, .50mm .75mm and 1.0mm.
