ABOUT THE ITEM:
The CFK Fire Starter & Striker Kit will produce high quality fire-starting sparks using the easy-grip ferrocerium rod. The one-piece, solid shaft, Fire Starter Set will withstand abuse and still offer easy fire starting capabilities. One-piece, solid blackened 2 3/4″ Long by 5/16″ thick ferrocerium fire starter rod. 16,000 fires can be started. The rod has a black plastic cap with a lanyard hole and is water proof. A black flint striker is included. This design will fit in all our sheaths with a fire steel slot. To get sparks to fly, scrape the black flint striker against the rod, over and over, to scrape the paint off the rod.
You can also use any of our 90-Degree Spine edge knives to strike the rod as well.
