Immerse the test pads into urine for 1-2 seconds(make sure the pads are wetted thoroughly);
Wipe off excess urine against the rim of the specimen container;
Read results in 60s by comparing the color of the pads to the color chart on the bottle label.
You can take a UTI test at home safely and simply, just give
a call to your doctor with the results.
50 test strips are packed in two individual pouches with desiccants to
resist humidity and keep fresh, and it is 24 month shelf life so that
you can test as often as you need for UTI.
Storage
To maintain strips freshness and effectiveness, store strips in a cool/
dry place, keep away from direct sunlight and moisture, keep lid tightly
sealed; and use within expiration date. Do not remove desiccants out.
How to Read the Results
Negative means no nitrite/leukocytes is found in the urine – Normal
results.
Positive means nitrite/leukocytes is found in the urine – Abnormal
results.
– Nitrite positive: It is positive when the reaction pad becomes pink in
the color within 1 minute, which means it has a sign of UTI.
– Leukocytes positive: It is positive when the reaction pad becomes
purple in the color within 1 minute, which means it has a sign of UTI.
– pH value: The value is higher than normal levels(above 7) suggests a
sign of UTI.
