Finger joints are used to make side-to-side or end-to-end joints in wood or wood composites. Box joint bits make just that; great looking, strong box corners. The tightness of the cut and the maximum glue surface create a joint that is stronger than the wood itself. The flush mounted bearing eliminates the need for complex alignment. Some have removable cutters to arrange for a variety of material thickness.
